Me vs. 20 lbs: April Update

A promising month indeed! We’re halfway through the purple phase and had a nice little showing of progress on both metrics. In March, we were focused on building up our base, which means I can run 2 miles without worrying about my guts falling out. We also did “canoe exercises” which are basically push-ups, sit-ups and other random arm strengtheners.
I can’t wait for this weekend, when we start paddling in earnest. The canoe race is just a little more than a month away!
