Farm Report: July Week 1

Apparently the best way to get your garden to thrive is to go on vacation and put your neighbor and Megan in charge. Holy cow my garden exploded while we were gone.

Note to self: If we’re getting a CSA next year, maybe don’t plant lettuce. I am not kidding when I say yesterday Hiram stuck his tongue out and it was completely green and slimy from eating so many leaves. Future self, please, we are drowning in lettuce. I already know I am not going to listen…

The BEST part of our farm update though is this:

Every night we eat raspberries. There’ so sweet no one has even argued when I tell them it’s dessert.
